Balancing travel, adventure, and family obligations in a hectic city like Toronto was challenging.
As I entered midlife, I longed for more freedom, authenticity, and simplicity—a fresh start. I came to Thailand with a dream of finding a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature without sacrificing modern comforts.
After a long search, I found a 2-acre property with a 6-bedroom villa along the Ping River near Chiang Mai.
This villa had everything I had ever dreamed of: expansive space, serene surroundings, and a deep connection to nature.
The moment I saw the beautiful pool, lush garden, and breathtaking views, I knew I had found home. I was inspired to transform it into "Ping Villa"—a true sanctuary, not just an address.
I'm thrilled to introduce "Lhong," the newest member of the Ping Villa family.
Lhong shares my passion for food as a universal language, embodying a style that is fun, creative, and collaborative—one of the many reasons we get along so well and why she's the perfect roommate!
With a deep commitment to crafting memorable culinary experiences, Lhong promotes the joy of cooking while prioritizing health and sustainability.
Lhong's culinary journey began along the Laos/Thailand border, and later, she honed her skills in London, where she owned her own restaurant. With 20 years of experience,Lhong brings a rich tapestry of knowledge to our kitchen at Ping Villa.
I’m excited to share Lhong's expertise and dedication to local, sustainable ingredients with everyone who visits Ping Villa.
